Rami Cassis

Rami Cassis is the founder and CEO of Parabellum Investments.

He is an international growth investor specialising in lower and mid-market companies primarily in tech, enterprise software, and business services.

Through Parabellum Investments he usually takes a controlling interest in businesses, working hands-on with CEOs and decision-makers to provide them with the tools, expertise, and strategies to drive long-term organic growth.

Cassis draws on experience from an extensive career in operations that spanned multiple sectors and several continents.

Prior to founding Parabellum Investments in 2012, he held a number of executive positions with corporations, including Operations Director, Chairman, CEO, and COO.

Cassis has proven success growing businesses from $5m to $150m in revenues and leading a variety of corporate transactions, such as reverse takeovers, take-privates, and mergers and acquisitions.

Current investments include automation firm, Parseq; serialisation specialist, Advanco; digital banking services firm, ieDigital; commercial IT solutions expert, MajorKey; and financial risk management service, Razor Risk. Cassis is Chairman at each of these companies.

He began his career with Schlumberger, working as Director of the Asian region and Director of Engineering Resourcing and Development for MEA and APAC. His tenure at the energy firm provided him with a firm footing in international markets, taking him to over 20 countries including Egypt, France, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Congo, Gabon, Angola, and the UAE.

He also had a brief consulting career, originally with KPMG prior to returning to line management at Atos Origin, where he was director of IT Outsourcing for the firm in the UK.

Cassis holds degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Pure and Applied Mathematics, both gained at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
